Manual well drilling systems
have been successfully used in the countries of the sub Andean region. However, in areas
where access implies high costs and difficult transport, problems have led to the building
of on-site drill rigs, increasing costs significantly. To alleviate this situation,
PAHO/CEPIS, incoordination with agencies working with this technology, has developed two
models of manual drill rigs to meet the needs of these institutions. |
