The BVSDE - Analytical Quality, developed by the Pan
American Health Organization through the Area of Sustainable
Development and Environmental Health is a useful tool
that compiles, stores and organizes documentation, references,
databases of information on sustainable development
and, in addition, provides a rapid and efficient access
to national, regional and international sources.
This portal is a center of resources of information,
tools, and exchange of knowledge in the area of public
health for the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean.
The area of Analytical Quality
generates tools of technology management and development,
promotes laboratory networks, and analyzes strategically
situations related to the environmental primary information
in the Basic Environmental Sanitation (SAB).
Our vision is to diminish environmental risks associated
with the public health, through the strengthening of
national capabilities: sanitary regulation, generation,
and use of the knowledge and promotion of the interventions
so that the countries of the Region have information
on environment and health that permits them the evaluation
and proper management of risks associated with the public
health.
